LEDOGAR

We are always very excited to feature the tried-and-true wines of Domaine Ledogar. Hopefully you were able to taste the new vintage at our tasting, but if not we're happy to bring some for you to taste! These wines have been a real steadfast workhorse for me since I started working with Fifi's portfolio. They tick so many boxes and fit so many occasions. They are rustic without being artless. They are complex without lacking in levity. The familiar flavors of the Corbières are ever present, but these wines are always leaner, brighter, and unabashedly fruity. Structure comes less from extraction and tannin, and more from acidity and minerals. Particularly so in the case of their autumnal clairette, Rouge et Clair.

Carignan Blanc is a true star of the portfolio for its uniqueness and depth. There's no better candidate for a classically stunning bottle on the outskirts of France's classical terroirs, from a variety that ennobles itself in this manifestation. It's very good!

La Compagnon is similar in its ability to fit the space of a perfect bistro wine, while bringing its own palette of flavors and colors specific to this wonderful place. Bright red fruits and tannins, lots of high pitch herbs. A burger wine, a steak wine, a friend, a lover...
